01 Design Concept of the Catalog
Molot-Oruzhie is one of the largest Russian small arms manufacturers, operating at the facilities of the legendary Molot plant in Vyatskie Polyany. For the plant, we created a catalog design, collected and posted information from various sources.
The design concept was created in a style typical for the Soviet period. The principles of constructivism, fonts, and the tone of paper draw a parallel with the high standards of the defense industry of those times.
Specifically for the catalog, we created illustrations demonstrating the principles of testing weapons produced. They clearly show how the products samples are subjected to testing before they get off the conveyor belt.
02 Right on the Target
Apart from the information about the model range of weapons, the catalog includes the history of the plant, the explosion diagram, the image of life-size cartridge and the process of testing the products.
Design and layout of Molot-Oruzhie Ltd (Молот-Оружие) catalog
The page of each model contains an indication of the caliber, complete technical specifications and photos of the product. In addition, the size of the weapon images is selected in such a way that they can be correlated with each other. The scale is 1:15.
For the export purposes, the English version of the catalog has been developed.
The result of work met all the expectations. The catalog fully complies with the high standards of Molot-Oruzhie Ltd (Молот-Оружие) products.
